Our helpline HOPELINE247 is a free, confidential support and advice service for those under the age of 35 who are having thoughts of suicide, and for anyone concerned about a young person.
Our trained Suicide Prevention Advisers listen to the young person talk through their thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan for safety. This plan can also be accessed after the call, using our HOPELINK service.
If you are concerned a young person is having thoughts of suicide, advisors can talk this through with you and give advice about how to start a conversation and support them. Supporting someone with thoughts of suicide can be really tough, so we are also here to debrief after those challenging conversations.
You can contact HOPELINE247 for free between 24 hours every day of the year (including weekends and Bank Holidays): (BSL support is also available)
