The Richmond Fellowship are a free mental health service who provide support to anyone over the age of 18 that may be struggling with their mental health and wellbeing.

They offer up to 8 one-to-one appointments, usually on a weekly basis, and these can be telephone or face-to-face whichever you prefer.

During the appointments they will work with you to help you explore and understand your mental health, whilst providing support to help you develop healthy coping mechanisms using therapeutic interventions.

Individuals can self-refer to the service or they can be referred by a professional or someone who is supporting them. Referrals are taken over the phone.

Weekly mental health drop-in sessions are also held in various community venues throughout Copeland and Allerdale. People do not need to refer or book an appointment to attend these drop-ins, they can just come along, have a chat with staff, meet other people, and learn ways to manage and improve their mental wellbeing.

Available Locations

Face to face appointments are held in Whitehaven.

Drop-in sessions are held at venues in Workington, Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Cockermouth and Seascale.  These venues are subject to change.
