Millom Safe Space : Re-opening Celebration Day
We’re excited to announce the re-opening of Millom Safe Space with a free fun day for all!
Come & join us to find out about all the wonderful free services we offer, or simply to sit a while and have some company – this is your Safe Space.
Free Sessions
- iCan Health & Fitness – breaking down barriers from “I can’t” to “I can”.
- Get a totally free Live Well Guide.
- Chance to access a range of mental health advice and information.
- Free 2 hour Guided Wellness Walk.
- Chance to sign up for more free local Wellness Walks.

iCan will be joining us & giving everyone a free copy (rrp £34:99) of their ‘Live Well Guide’ Mindfulness * Trigger-Tracking * Coping Strategies Food & Mood Diary * How to Measure * Recipes * Exercise

The Wheels of Wellness will be joining us to offer fun bouncing sessions for all ages and abilities. You’ll also get the option of some free online sessions to help you use the Live Well Guide.

Refreshments and the chance to have a chat with people will be available.

Mental Health North West CIC Ltd. will be telling us about their free Wellness Walks which are available for people in the Millom area over the coming weeks.

Free guided Wellness Walk in the local area – nothing difficult, just a chance to have a wander and an unwind in nature.
Just bring comfy footwear and a jacket.

For the next 12 months, Millom Safe Space- delivered by Mind in Furness and the provisions from iCan and Mental Health North West will be funded from a grant received from Cumbria Community Foundation through the Transforming West Cumbria programme, funded by Sellafield Ltd.
