Book an online appointment with our ‘virtual safe haven’ to speak to a support worker between 4pm and midnight, seven days a week.

Follow us on Facebook for the latest updates and drop-in sessions.

Hope Haven provides support and wellbeing activities around the Whitehaven and Copeland area.

Work is also underway to refurbish Hope Haven’s hub, on King Street in Whitehaven, to open later in 2025.

We’re here to help you with personalised, one-on-one support, no matter what you’re struggling with.

We offer:

  • Advice and help with things that are getting you down, like money worries, housing and job problems.
  • Help through a crisis or difficult times.
  • Groups and one-off sessions to help you look after your wellbeing.

People will not need a referral to get support from Hope Haven. It will be open to all adults in the Copeland area.

Hope Haven is a group effort by several organisations working together. We have staff from Cumbria Health; Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW); Everyturn Mental Health; Home Group; iCan Wellbeing Group CIO; The Well Communities CIC; and Whitehaven Community Trust. The service is funded by NHS England.
